I visited the village of Gazeley last September. It is a beautiful village, and the people I met were extremely friendly.
I took lots of photos of the village and church. I came to Gazeley to look around as my great great grandfather was a wheelwright in the village, and hoped to look at the Parish Records.

Hello and could I ask for a correction please?
As an old Kirtonion of some 73 summers could I ask you not to refer to Kirton-in-Lindsey as a village as it is not one.
It is actually a small Town, complete with a Town council, Town
Mayor and a Town Hall. NOT a village hall.
Most older Kirtonions will correct anyone they hear referring to Kirton as a village and some get very upset when they hear it called anything other than a Town. Some of us do have some pride in where we live.
Thank You. Bill.
